Unfortunately, we can’t do anything with our property; as the Town has told me: “as long as you own it, you’ll never do a f@#king thing with it.”  They’re right — we can’t … and the Town has made sure of that!  This is the home that I grew up in, and did all the custom work to with my father; and came back to.  The Town calls it a 5-Room Bungalow … nope, not quite!  We have put a lot of money into it, and hundreds of hours of labor into upgrading; however, with Graziano Gardens operating unregulated and being Zoned Commercial/Residential, the Town has destroyed the enjoyment, value and heritage of our home and land.  It isn’t a Residential Property any more; it is really a Commercial Property, it isn’t safe to call this “Residence A Property” any more thanks to the Town!

HOW COULD WE EVER SELL OUR HOME AND SECOND LOT TO ANYONE WITH THIS MESS IN FRONT OF IT!
This is the MESS that we have fought!  How could a Planning Board, Building Inspector … anyone, think that it is perfectly acceptable to allow this on Residence A Land in the Middle of a Residence A Neighborhood?  How would it be safe in general, mush less for our 6-Year-Old Son at the time!  It isn’t much better now that the Town illegally opened ‘New Dawes Street” to “Old Dawes Street” so that Revere Street becomes a Raceway for the traffic from New Dawes Street!
The Town allowed the Grazianos to tear up a “Real Farm Field” and install a Warehouse, “Retail Sale Yards (Front and Rear)!”  So, where do they actually Grow the items they sell on the Farm?  It all arrives in Delivery Trucks as you will see here!
This Giant Mess is what the Town allowed the Grazianos to build on a Farm Field!  Huge “10,000 Sq. Ft. Retail Greenhouses” replaced small “Growing Greenhouses.”   Six-Foot Chainlink Fence topped with 3-Rows of Barbed Wire!  If that weren’t enough … 10-Feet of it was on Town Land, and seeing as the Town has never ever provided proof that the fence and the crappy shrubs they put up are really on their property.  Under East Longmeadow Zoning Bylaw, if this were legitimate there would be at least a 25-Foot Setback and a 12 1/2 Foot Wooded buffer, and no outside sales area at all.

Harassment?

The Town has done everything in its power from our point of view to drive us out of our home as well as making it impossible to sell … except to the Grazianos … What do you think?  The Town has refused to pave Revere Street (not widen it and Pave it!)  The Town refused to run sewer up Revere Street forcing us to go 175 Feet to Elm Street (11 Feet Deep to connect), refused to replace the water pipes when they did everyone else’s, refused to put up the No Parking Signs to properly reflect the No Parking (we fought for over a year to get this), never enforces the No Parking, the Police refuse to respond to calls for assistance, they plow the snow into our side of the street and into our driveway when there are no houses on the other side of the street … the list goes on an on!  When Elm Street was re-paved did you ever wonder why there were no piles of refuse anywhere?  It all went in front of our home!  Here are some examples of what the Town does to our family.
